MATTHEW FERRIAssociate Pastor to Students
Matthew and his wife, Danielle, joyfully returned home to the Fayetteville area in August 2025, when Matthew was called to serve at Southview. Both were discipled at Southview during their school years, and the church has remained a deeply formative place in their walk with Christ. Matthew is a graduate of Regent University and is prayerfully preparing to pursue his Master of Divinity. Before returning home, he served for three years as an associate pastor in Tennessee, where the Lord first called him to vocational ministry. He carries a deep passion for teaching the riches of God’s Word and for engaging the life of the church so that men and women find their true belonging in God’s family through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ. Matthew and Danielle are blessed with four children, whom they see as a precious gift from God. They are committed to stewarding this gift faithfully, believing that the church is truly home, where Christ has given His people a “hundredfold” of love and family (Mark 10:30). Together, they enjoy reading, spending time with their kids, and investing in the life of the church. Above all, their desire is simple: to love God and love others, because Christ first loved us." |
