Thank You, Brian Kinlaw!
After 15 years of faithful reflection of Christ and godly leadership, it is our joy to support the Kinlaw family in their next calling to pastor in Tennessee. We are excited to see God's continued influence through the Kinlaw family. During his time at Southview, Brian set the foundation for our mission, vision, and values that guide us to a more passionate intimacy with our Savior. On this foundation, our search for our next pastor begins. Please pray for our search and for the Kinlaw's transition to Tennessee.
Chris Dickerson - Interim Preaching
Chris has been a friend of Southview for many years, having served as a pastor in the area for a number of years. He began full-time gospel ministry in 1997. Currently, he is the Dean of Online Studies and Professor at Carolina College of Biblical Studies (www.ccbs.edu) here in Fayetteville. At the college, Chris teaches Bible interpretation, preaching, and pastoral ministry courses. He left full-time pastoral ministry in order to pour his life into pastors, who in turn will pour their lives into their churches.
Chris earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Science Education from UNC-CH. He then completed his Masters of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. A glutton for punishment, Chris returned to Southeastern to complete a PhD in Expository Preaching (hopes to graduate May 2018). He has been married to his wife Stephanie since 2003. They have four children. Chris also serves on the Board of Directors for Freedom Christian Academy. His hobbies include running, swimming, and cycling—currently training for a triathlon.

Shane earned his bachelor's degree in theology and communications from Houston Baptist University and his master's in professional counseling from Liberty University. Shane is the proud husband of Rebecca and father of Kenna and Kara. He is an avid baseball fan who loves philosophy, theology, history...and just about anything Texas (except the Dallas Cowboys).
Kelly Parsons - Nursery Coordinator
Kelly and her family came to Southview in 2008 and within a few weeks knew that this was where God meant for them to be. Never did she think that she would be called to the nursery ministry. Over the past four years, Kelly has been blessed by the children and their families that have come through the nursery classes. She hopes that, in some small way, she has been able to be a reflection of God's amazing love for each of them.
Rob and Kelly have been married for 18 years and their busy crew includes Jake, Will, Gracie, Sam, and Charlie. When she is not homeschooling their kids, Kelly loves to read, run, travel, and hang out with friends and family.
