The purpose of the New Members Class is to give an overview of Jesus’ command to “make disciples of all nations,” and Southview’s strategy to accomplish this. There are three sessions to this course. The first session answers the question; What is a disciple? The second session answers the question; How does a disciple grow to be more like Christ? The last session covers Southview’s strategy to fulfill Jesus’ command to make disciples, how Southview is governed, and opportunities for involvement and service.
