Parents' Update & Resources
Our purpose is to nurture within one another an ever-increasing knowledge of and fulfillment in God that inspires us to reflect Christ and make disciples.
This fallen world cannot fulfill the deepest desires of our hearts, nor can we escape the guilt of sin through our self efforts. It is only Christ Jesus that can cleanse our consciences and fully satisfy the inner cravings of our souls. Below you will find resources to help you lead your family in the truth that sets us free to love, enjoy, and purposely serve God who created us for His glory.
Preschool and elementary children are on a three year quest through the Bible to discover the ultimate treasure; the Lord Jesus Christ. It is He who is the divine thread that unifies all of the Bible.
April 29 - May 27: God Among Us - After Jesus' victory over temptation in the wilderness, Jesus began His earthly ministry. As Jesus traveled throughout Judea, His personal encounters with ordinary people changed their lives in an extraordinary way. Jesus revealed that He was God the Son in human form, living among God's people and bringing salvation in Him alone.

Lesson Content for the 2017-2018 School Year
3 year old - kindergarten ~ He Established a Testimony: Old Testament Stories for Young Children
God has testified of His glorious deeds and mighty power. This curriculum explores God's greatness by noting key themes found chronologically throughout the Old Testament. Our goal is to acquaint children with a great God whose character never changes. This school year we are continuing where we left off in Numbers and will continue to the end of the Old Testament.
1st and 2nd grades ~ The ABCs of God: A Study for Children on the Greatness and Worth of God
Children will be taught the attributes of God in an age appropriate way. Each lesson asks and answers three key questions, "Who is God?" "What is He like?" and "How should I act toward Him?" as it presents a theology of God for children.
3rd and 4th grades ~ In the Beginning . . . Jesus: A Chronological Study for Children of Redemptive History
The Bible is one complete true story that progressively reveals God's redemptive plan, which comes to complete fulfillment in the Person and work of Jesus Christ. Children will be confronted with a historical mystery—Jesus' death on the cross—and asks the questions: "What really happened here?" "Why did Jesus die?" and "Who did it?". To find the answers to these questions, the study goes to the beginning of the Bible narrative in Genesis and then moves chronologically through the Old Testament text as students search for clues that foreshadow the coming of Jesus and His redemptive work on the cross. Special emphasis is given to showing that the Bible is God's story from beginning to end and that Jesus is the key to understanding the story.
5th grade ~ How Majestic is Your Name: A Study for Children on the Names and Character of God
The names of God in the Bible are a reflection of His character, which is so glorious that He cannot be described by a single name. His character is communicated in hundreds of names progressively revealed in the Bible. 5th graders will be taught that the many names, titles and references to God are given for us to know, reverence, and enjoy the greatness of our God. Each lesson presents glorious truths about God and encourages students to see and rejoice in His goodness and greatness.
Our desire is for families and children to have a passion for the supremacy of God in all things, experience joy in Jesus Christ, and therefore discover Him as their ultimate treasure.
The kingdom of heaven is like treasure, buried in a field, that a man found and reburied. Then in his joy he goes and sells everything he has and buys that field.
(Matthew 13:44, HCSB)
