2017 Harvest Fest Volunteer Page
Why Harvest Fest?
Last year, as a result of Hurricane Matthew, we decided to take our Fall Festival to the Hope Mills and Gray's Creek communities. The results, we believe, were fantastic. It quickly became clear that there was more value in taking the message of the Gospel to our community and surrounding neighborhoods rather than hoping the community would come to us. We have decided to repeat these efforts this year.
This year's overarching theme for all trunks and homes is "Loving Our Neighbors Through Prayer & Thanksgiving". See below for multiple options on how you can serve in this fantastic opportunity to show the love of Christ to a broken and hurting world. For additional information, please contact the church office @ 910.424.1298.
Sign up here if you would like to host a trunk at either the Hope Mills Municipal Park (Tuesday, October 31st 6-8pm...trunks to arrive between 5:15-5:30pm) or the Gray's Creek Rec Center (Friday, October 20 6-9pm...trunks to arrive between 5:15-5:30pm). The purpose is to build relationships and have the opportunity to pray, celebrate and fellowship with our community.
All normal trunk guidelines still apply.
Sign up here if you would like to host a Harvest Fest Outreach at your home. Home Outreaches are more flexible and can be accomplished in a number of ways. The purpose is to share the gospel through prayer, celebration and fellowship with your neighbors.
